Cathy Reynolds is a partner with Roanoke Valley Criminal Defense. She focuses her practice defending clients in serious traffic and criminal matters, including reckless driving, DUI / DWI, assault, domestic offenses, and felony charges, with experience representing individuals in the General District Court, the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, and the Circuit Court, in bench trials and jury trials.

Ms. Reynolds is a well-respected advocate on behalf of criminal defendants throughout Southwest Virginia. In 2020 and 2021, she secured “Not Guilty” verdicts in jury trials defending clients who had been charged in the Roanoke City Circuit Court involuntary manslaughter and first degree homicide. Her representation of clients has been reported in the Roanoke Times. 

A native of Roanoke, Ms. Reynolds previously worked for Woods Rogers, the largest law firm in Southwest Virginia. She also has experience with the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission and UnitedLex. Ms. Reynolds earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Roanoke College and a law degree from Appalachian School of Law, where she served as president of the International Law Society.
